SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: CLOSED MEANS CLOSED

Around 11:30 a.m. Sept. 24, an “immense” amount of rain on the grass near a Highland Park tennis court at Abbott and Auburndale avenues led a resident to take his dog into a closed court to play fetch. Turns out the area was closed off because the court was being redone, and the rendezvous left scratch marks all over the new acrylic surface. Oops!
