Park Cities Residents Remember Julie Clancy
The pink ribbons tied on trees and poles in the Park Cities are in memory of former Armstrong Elementary School teacher Julie Woods Clancy, who died Aug. 27 after a year-long battle with cancer.
The Highland Park High School graduate grew up in University Park and went on to teach at Armstrong for more than 15 years, according to her obituary. A service was held Sept. 4 at Park Cities Presbyterian Church.
She was involved with the Cattle Baron’s Ball, the Junior League of Dallas, and her YPO spousal forum.
