SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: FORGET SOMETHING?
Reported at 10:12 a.m. on May 10: A reckless roadster did not stop at the intersection of Dartmouth Avenue and Abbott Avenue, but part of their bumper did. The piece was found near the damaged eastbound stop sign on Dartmouth Avenue.

5 Monday
A 17-year-old girl was arrested on a warrant at about 9:55 a.m. on University Boulevard.
6 Tuesday
Reported at 12:15 p.m.: A license plate looter stole the plate of a 2023 Jeep Wrangler at an undisclosed location.
A bag burglar stole a purse from a 2019 Land Rover at about 2:27 p.m. in The Plaza at Preston Center.
7 Wednesday
A thief stole equipment from a 2014 GMC Sierra at about 10:03 a.m. on Villanova Drive.
8 Thursday
A 28-year-old woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated, and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at about 3:31 a.m. on Airline Road.
9 Friday
Officers made a traffic stop and arrested a 26-year-old man on a warrant at about 2:47 a.m. on Normandy Avenue.
A thief in the night stole a 2014 Toyota Avalon from Emerson Avenue before 8:04 a.m.
A 35-year-old man was arrested at about 6:04 p.m. on Preston Road for stealing property from CVS, possession or delivery of drug paraphernalia, and on warrants.
Officers arrested a 28-year-old man on warrants at about 9:08 p.m. on Cole Street.
10 Saturday
A package poacher stole from a home on St Andrews Drive at about 1:20 p.m.
A man was arrested on a warrant at about 6:52 p.m. at an undisclosed location.
A criminal cruiser stole a 2025 Cadillac XT5 from Fondren Drive at about 7:30 p.m.
Officers arrested a 51-year-old woman for driving while intoxicated with a child under the age of 15, and endangering a child at about 10:33 p.m. on Windsor Avenue.
11 Sunday
An 18-year-old man was arrested for evading arrest or detention and cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol at about 12:35 a.m. on Amherst Street.
Reported at 7:21 a.m.: A burglar struck a 2021 Dodge Ram 2500 in the 2800 block of McFarlin Boulevard at about 7:30 p.m. on May 10.

A lawn mower looter stole a Toro commercial mower from the bed of a pickup truck in the 4600 block of Belclaire Avenue before 8:01 a.m.
A 31-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication at about 12:05 p.m. in the 5100 block of Preston Road.

A 35-year-old man was arrested on warrants at about 8:30 a.m. in the 4500 block of West Mockingbird Lane.

A 39-year-old man was arrested on a warrant at about 12:33 p.m. in the 5600 block of Preston Road.

A 51-year-old woman was arrested for carrying a weapon without a license and for driving while intoxicated at about 5:03 p.m. in the 4400 block of St Johns Avenue.
