Sweet Treats for a Sweeter Cause Returned May 10
The little lemonade stand with lofty goals was back on May 10 at the corner of Southwestern Boulevard and Hillcrest Road.
The stand was open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to raise funds for Tabitha Outreach Foundation Academy, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of orphans, widows and the fatherless in southwest Kenya.
Offerings included lemonade, as well as flowers and cake pops in celebration of Mother’s Day.
