SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: BOUNCY BANDIT
An athletic interloper jumped a fence and trespassed on property on Southwestern Boulevard at about 11:59 p.m. on April 14.

14 Monday
Reported at 8:44 a.m.: A sneaky thief burglarized three vehicles on Hanover Street and stole a Celine purse, two credit cards, and $100.
A brazen burglar broke into a 2022 Jeep Wagoneer in the 4000 block of Caruth Boulevard at about 9:05 a.m. and stole a woven purse, a MacBook Pro, a Saint Laurent YSL wallet, credit and debit cards, a Jeep key fob, a driver’s license, sunglasses, and a notebook.
A 2024 GMC Sierra was burglarized at about 10:15 a.m. on Rosedale Avenue.
15 Tuesday
A mischief maker vandalized a gate door on Southwestern Boulevard before 1:22 a.m.
16 Wednesday
Officers took a report regarding an invasive visual recording at the Moody Family YMCA on Preston Road at about 8:02 a.m.
A criminal stole a 25-inch STIHL chainsaw from the 3900 block of McFarlin Boulevard at about 5:38 p.m.
18 Friday
A shady thief stole an insurance card from the Sunshine State out of a 2024 Mercedes-Benz C300at about 4:43 p.m. on Hillcrest Avenue.
Reported at 7:51 p.m.: A greedy thief stole groceries from a home on Hanover Street.

19 Saturday
A criminal cruiser stole a 2023 Land Rover Range Rover, an Ostrich purse, and a Chanel bag on Greenbrier Drive at about 3:54 a.m.
A bag bandit stole a Chanel purse, a Saint Laurent YSL wallet, makeup, debit and credit cards, and a driver’s license from a 2020 Lexus GX in Germany Park at about 11:28 a.m.
HIGHLAND PARK
14 Monday
A 24-year-old woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated at about 1:38 a.m. in the 4000 block of St Andrews Drive.
A dirty thief stole a bag of dry-cleaned clothing and Ray-Ban sunglasses in their case from a 2019 Range Rover Sport in the 4600 block of Lorraine Avenue before 8:40 a.m.
One or more thieves stole a pair of Warby Parker sunglasses from an Audi Q5 and rifled through the glove box of a Lexus RX in the 4600 block of Edmondson Avenue before 8:45 a.m.
A 27-year-old man was arrested for littering and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 2:31 p.m. near the intersection of Southern Avenue and Armstrong Parkway.
15 Tuesday
A Toyota Tacoma that disappeared from the 4500 block of Westway Avenue was located in an alley behind the 4600 block of Lorraine Avenue at about 7:15 a.m. A backpack, laptop, wallet and other items were found on either side of the truck, about $200 was missing from the center console, and the driver’s side window and wires were damaged.
Reported at 5:21 p.m.: A fraudster cashed checks for $42,500 out of the bank accounts of residents of the 3700 block of Beverly Drive without their permission.
17 Thursday
Officers found a stolen Chevy Silverado in the 4700 block of Bowser Avenue at about 3:12 a.m.
A brazen burglar broke the rear driver’s side window of a 2025 Land Rover in the 4100 block of Lomo Alto Drive at about 4:02 p.m. and stole a pair of men’s shorts and outdoor chair covers.
18 Friday
A 35-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and failing to identify himself at about 8:05 a.m. in the 3600 block of Euclid Avenue.
While a plumber was working in the 4600 block of Livingston Avenue at about 2:30 p.m., a sneaky thief stole a piece of equipment worth about $4,000 out of the back of his company truck.
A 59-year-old woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated at about 11:57 p.m. in the 3100 block of Beverly Drive.
19 Saturday
Reported at 10:39 a.m.: A burglar opened the front passenger door of a Ford F-150 in the 4400 block of Livingston Avenue, entered the truck, and stole a Microsoft Surface Laptop and Colt Mark IV .45 caliber pistol.

A porch pirate stole a package containing a $25,000 check from near the front door of a home in the 3400 block of Drexel Drive at about 11:31 a.m.
A 30-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and on a warrant at about 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of McFarlin Boulevard and Dickens Avenue.
