IKEA Coming to The Shops at Park Lane
Calling all college students, apartment dwellers, and parents of toddlers!
IKEA, the chain known for both sturdy furniture for tight spaces and flavor-packed Swedish meatballs, will open a store at The Shops at Park Lane late this year.
IKEA Dallas – University Park will be a small-format, two-story store, the company announced on its website. But small is a relative term — for IKEA, that means a 63,000 square-foot space that offers 3,200 articles and food.
The company added on its website that the entire range will not be available to take home immediately. Some items may need to be ordered online.
“Our biggest competitive advantage are our IKEA stores. This is where everything comes together under one roof and where visitors can experience our brand, our solutions, and our amazing co-workers,” Ben Sandoval, Market Manager, IKEA U.S. said in a statement. “This location will provide a relevant food offer and a curated selection of products for immediate takeaway.”
