Scots Pick New Set of Football Captains
Highland Park has chosen a quartet of new senior captains representing both sides of scrimmage for the upcoming 2025 football season.
The leaders chosen by their peers include receiver Cannon Bozman, defensive lineman Thomas Cook, offensive lineman Stuart Allday, and linebacker Beau Jones.
The team’s Player Committee will consist of Allday, Bozman, Cook, Jones, Harrison Cullum, Isaiah Lee, Langedon McMurray, Case Messer, Ronan Moreland, Charlie Olmstead, Hatcher Phillips, Tripp Townsend, Martin True and Matthew White.
The Scots are coming off a state runner-up finish in Class 5A Division I last year. They will open the season — which will be the 27th campaign at HP for head coach Randy Allen — on Aug. 29 at home against Rockwall-Heath.
