Eagles Soar to Easy Win Over St. Mark’s
Episcopal School of Dallas has started fast in its quest to defend last season’s Texas High School Lacrosse League championship.
The applies both to the season and to Thursday’s road game against rival St. Mark’s, in which the Eagles cruised to a 13-4 victory at Hunt Family Stadium.
ESD opened up a commanding 7-1 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The Eagles (7-0) have scored in double digits in every game this season without allowing more than eight goals in any contest. Meanwhile, the Lions (4-3) suffered their third straight defeat.
Each team will travel to play games over spring break — ESD in California and St. Mark’s in Florida — before resuming in-state play later this month. The Lions will host Southlake Carroll on March 26, while the Eagles will face Houston St. John’s on March 28.
