Hyde, Lady Scots End Skid Against Turner
Highland Park was in a celebratory mood while snapping a six-game softball losing streak on Tuesday.
The Lady Scots rolled past Carrollton Turner 9-3 for their first victory in District 12-5A play. They also honored head coach Michael Pullen, who earned his 100th career win with HP last month.
Emma Hyde, a freshman, was the winning pitcher and also hit a triple for the Lady Scots (7-8, 1-2), who will travel to face Frisco Wakeland on Friday.
