Turtle Creek Association Announces Azalea Luncheon
The Turtle Creek Association has announced its Azalea Luncheon, to be held on April 2, at the Joule Hotel. The Luncheon will raise funds to preserve, protect, and celebrate the Turtle Creek corridor.
President and CEO, JD Trueblood, has appointed Mary Brinegar as Honorary Chair and Sharon Ballew as chair. Deborah Stanford and Ann Stuart PhD are Honorary Chairs Emeriti, with WRMC as Presenting Sponsor.
The Turtle Creek Association takes on a range of responsibilities to preserve the corridor’s beauty through dedicated efforts, including litter and trash removal, as well as meticulous landscape and hardscape maintenance. The Association also orchestrates seasonal color transformations along the creek, manages irrigation and watering systems, oversees litter and trash removal from the creek, and performs the upkeep of 25 beautifully landscaped medians.
The Association plays a crucial role in sustaining 2,600 trees that offer a haven for wildlife, and are instrumental in providing essential amenities such as drinking fountains, trash receptacles, and benches throughout the parks.
