Madden, Greene Propel Scots at Home Meet
Some standout individual performances highlighted the recent HP Invitational gymnastics meet at the Hegi Family Gymnastics Training Center.
Eva Madden led the Lady Scots to a third-place finish in the girls team standings. The sophomore won on balance beam and was third in the all-around competition. HP freshman Ella Ham won vault, and teammate Lauren Sweary placed third.
On the boys side, the Scots were fourth as a team. Ryder Greene was the meet champion on floor exercise in addition to finishing third on vault and horizontal bar. Greene was second in the all-around.
The optional meet is the only home event of the regular season for the Scots. This year, they also will host the Region I meet on April 8-9, which will follow the district meet on April 2 in Garland.
