Hockaday Teacher To Premiere ‘Song of the Cicada’ Film
Anyone who’s been to an exhibit of the artist’s work or has attended a screening of his films knows diving into Weiss’s world is an immersive trip worth taking. And the artist is worth meeting — his storytelling ability another impressive aspect of his multidimensional talents.
The Dallas Premiere of Song of the Cicada by Hockaday’s Art and Film teacher, Robert Weiss, will be held at the Texas Theatre on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 7 p.m.
There will be a Q&A to follow the screening of the film, and the Texas Theatre bar will host an after party following the screening of the film. Tickets are limited.
