President of Preservation Texas to Speak at UP Public Library

Willis Winters, Director Emeritus of the Dallas Park and Recreation Department and President of Preservation Texas, will be the featured speaker on Feb. 25 at the Friends of the University Park Public Library’s Meet Me at The Library Lecture Series.

The presentation will be in the University Park Public Library Community Room at 7 p.m. with light refreshments starting at 6:30 p.m.  

Winters program, titled “Crafting Traditions, the Architecture of Mark Lemmon,” will include a deep dive into the architect who designed Highland Park Presbyterian Church, Highland Park United Methodist Church, and many of the buildings on the SMU campus.
