Community Invited to LitFest Keynote
The community is invited to hear New York Times bestselling author of Beneath a Scarlet Sky and former investigative reporter Mark Sullivan deliver tonight’s keynote speech at the 30th annual Highland Park Literary Festival (HP LitFest).
Sullivan, the acclaimed author of over 18 novels, will speak this evening, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m. in the Highland Park High School auditorium. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Hot drinks will be served starting at 6 p.m., and admission is free.
LitFest, HP’s annual celebration of language in all of its written, spoken, and visual forms, will continue on Friday, Feb. 21, with workshops for HPHS students, who heard from Sullivan this morning.
This year’s workshop presenters include experts in everything from how to craft a successful college essay to how to create a frightful horror film.
