Community Partners of Dallas (CPD) hosted its second annual “The Grateful Table,” an appreciation dinner celebrating its affinity group, The Circle, on Nov. 13.
By providing items such as winter coats, diapers and formula, holiday gifts, school uniforms, personal hygiene products, food, and more, CPD aims to show abused children in the community kindness and care.
Community Partners of Dallas CEO Joanna Clarke, along with The Circle chair Mersina Stubbs, and membership co-chairs Elizabeth and Eric Gambrell were joined by more than 115 patrons at the dinner.
The event featured words from Reverend Linda Roby of Highland Park Methodist Church, and a fireside chat with Carl Sewell, third-generation automotive dealer and the innovative mind behind Sewell Automotive Companies, and his son Carl III, partner at Sewell Automotive Companies and co-president of operations.
At the end of the night, Clarke took the stage to thank attendees for ensuring CPD can continue to provide what abused children urgently need today to thrive tomorrow. Guests received a copy of Sewell’s best-selling book as a thank you for attending.
