Scots Drop Heartbreaker in Home Opener
A late rally by Highland Park fell short during a 52-51 loss to Lake Highlands in the basketball home opener for the Scots on Friday.
Canon Wyatt scored 14 points and Colin Noble had 12 to pace a balanced attack for the winless Scots (0-3), who opened the season with defeats against Wylie and Allen.
HP will try to reverse its fortunes during an extended homestand that continues with matchups against McKinney on Tuesday and Sherman on Nov. 25.
