Parish Honors 12 Future College Athletes
Parish Episcopal’s football dynasty continues to produce college-level athletes, as the school’s National Signing Day ceremony on Wednesday can attest.
Seven seniors from the TAPPS Division I state champions were recognized for their forthcoming college destinations, including receiver Hutch Crow (Columbia), offensive lineman Nicholas Farris (Western Illinois), kicker Dylan Sherman (Claremont McKenna), and deep snapper Nick Rolfi (Austin College) — who will also play baseball as a dual-sport athlete.
The other three will join NCAA Division I rosters as preferred walk-ons: defensive end Ty Witte (TCU), linebacker Caleb Bowers (Tulsa), and offensive lineman Jacob Pequeno (Arkansas State).
They join three college-bound seniors for the Panthers from the early signing period in December — Caleb Mitchell Irving (Purdue), Maddux Reid (Harvard), and Sam Liu (McNeese State).
Parish’s signees in other sports include girls soccer players Indigo Sims (Sam Houston State) and Alex Rees (Washington and Lee), girls basketball players Ivie Mehary (Trinity) and Peyton Cole (University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy), and swimmer Camlyn Belle (Washington and Lee).
