HP Boys Post Mixed Results at Tournament
Highland Park won two of five games against tough competition at the Coppell Tip-Off Classic boys basketball tournament over the weekend.
After opening with a 48-42 victory over Byron Nelson on Thursday, the Scots (3-4) led at halftime against McKinney before falling 68-60. They scored a convincing 95-48 triumph over Cleburne, then dropped back-to-back matchups with Amarillo and Mansfield Legacy.
During an extended stretch of games away from home, HP will aim to bounce back on Nov. 25 at Arlington Bowie and on Nov. 28 at McKinney.
