HP Girls Run to Victory in Season Opener
The Highland Park girls started the cross country season in fast form by winning a team title at the Plano ISD Invitational meet on Saturday
Kayla Dickerson and Maddie Heckler tied for third place individually, completing the 3.2-kilometer course at Hoblitzelle Park in 12 minutes, 3 seconds. Ellie Preston placed sixth for the Lady Scots.
Next up, HP will head to the Woodhouse Invitational in Waxahachie on Aug. 19 in Waxahachie, followed by the Greenhill Six-Mile Invitational the following weekend at Norbuck Park.
