Scots Ground Cardinals, Extend Hot Streak
A six-game winning streak has lifted Highland Park into a tie for second place in the District 7-6A baseball standings.
The Scots completed a two-game sweep of Irving MacArthur with a 12-1 home victory on Tuesday. That followed a 7-2 win over the Cardinals three days earlier.
HP has outscored its opponents by a combined margin of 48-4 over the past six games, and now sits one game behind district leader Jesuit Dallas with four games remaining in the regular season.
Next up, the Scots (16-9, 10-2) will play Richardson over two consecutive days, beginning on Friday at Scotland Yard.
