HP Boys Glide Past Pearce in Dual Opener
In its first dual meet of the swimming season on Tuesday, Highland Park split with Richardson Pearce, with the boys picking up a win.
Individual event winners for the HP boys included G.B. Stalnaker (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle). Luka Zivaljevic (100 freestyle), Ruihan Zhu (100 breaststroke), Ivan Zivaljevic (50 freestyle), and Andrew Li (200 individual medley).
On the girls side, HP top finishers included Angelina Huang (100 butterfly, 100 backstroke), Max McAllister (100 breaststroke), and Bella Dewhirst (50 freestyle). The Blue Wave also won the boys 200 freestyle relay, boys 400 freestyle relay, and girls 200 freestyle relay.
HP will next face Jesuit and Ursuline in a dual meet on Nov. 1 at the HP Natatorium.
