NorthPark Exhibit Highlights Art To Be Featured in DCAC’s Art For Advocacy
Art-loving Dallasites will get a look at some of the art that will be included in Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center’s Art for Advocacy auction while the showcase is exhibited at NorthPark Center.
The showcase, which includes art from artists who donated to the Art for Advocacy fundraiser, is up at NorthPark until Sept. 6. Art for Advocacy is set for Sept. 10. Hosted by Stephanie and John Roberts, the evening includes cocktails, a silent art auction featuring 80 works, a seated dinner, and a live art auction.
The NorthPark showcase includes 21 works from Martirene Alcántara, William Atkinson, Cassandra Black, Natalie Christensen, Francene Christianson, Camilla Cowan, Brad Ellis, Julie England, Erin Fuge, Jenny Grumbles, Danielle Kimzey, Dr. Sam Lam, Arienne Lepretre, Mitch McGee, Kaitlin Merchant, Treg Miller, Pamela Nelson, Anastacia Sadeh, Danny Williams, and Sarah Williams.
Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, which works to fight child abuse in Dallas County, serves around 8,000 people per year.
