2021 Chi Omega Christmas Market Raises $500,000+ For 15 Local Nonprofits

The Chi Omega Christmas market recently announced it raised more than $500,000 during its 2021 market to support 15 local nonprofits.

Co-chaired by Hilary Dooley, Jackie Engwicht, Nancy Newbold and Lynne Seago, the 2021 Chi Omega Christmas Market featured nearly 200 merchants and welcomed more than 11,000 shoppers to Fair Park. Since its founding in 1978, the quintessential Christmas Market has supported 122 different local North Texas agencies and donated more than $9.5 million.

“The 2021 Chi Omega Christmas Market team is incredibly proud of these results, and we are extremely thankful to the entire team that made this success possible,” said Hilary Dooley, Chi Omega Christmas Market 2021 Co-Chair. “We are confident that these funds will better our communities and provide much-needed services to North Texans.”

Beneficiaries of the 2021 market include Bridge Breast Network, Braswell Child Development Center, CitySquare, Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, DME Exchange of Dallas, Family Gateway, Grant Halliburton Foundation, Make-A-Wish of North Texas, Mi Escuelita Preschool, Mommies In Need, New Friends New Life, Our Friends Place, PediPlace, Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and The Senior Source.

Looking ahead to later this year, the 45th Chi Omega Christmas Market will be held on Nov. 16-19, 2022, at the Automobile Building at Fair Park.
