Luka Dončić Nominated for Best NBA Player in 2022 ESPYS
The 2022 ESPYS nominees are out now, including the Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Dončić of Preston Hollow who’s up for the title of Best NBA Player.
The ESPYs are presented by ABC and previously ESPN to recognize individuals and teams for athletic achievement and sports-related performance during the calendar year.
This is Dončić’s second year being nominated for Best NBA Player. Last year, he was also nominated for best collegiate athlete for his work with the Iowa basketball team and best play in round one brackets for his game winner against the Memphis Grizzlies in April 2021.
This year, Dončić was recognized as one of our 20 Under 40.
Fans can vote online for who they want to win at ESPN.com/ESPYS until July 17. The 2022 ESPYS will be broadcast live on July 20 at 7 p.m.
