Biediger Earns Bronze at State Tourney
Sophie Biediger capped her Highland Park golf career with a bronze medal at the Class 5A state tournament on Tuesday.
In her second appearance at the state tournament, Biediger tied for third place with a two-round score of 73-71—144 (or even par) at White Wing Golf Club in Georgetown.
Biediger was eight shots behind individual champion Farah O’Keefe of Austin Anderson. The HP senior and SMU signee tied for fourth place last year with the same total.
HP finished fourth as a team, 36 strokes behind Anderson in first place and two behind the second of two squads from San Antonio Alamo Heights in third. Also competing for the Lady Scots were Tatum Thomason, Claire Wiebe, Grace Heiss, and Landry Saylor.
