Spieth Wins in Playoff at Hilton Head

For the second straight year, Jordan Spieth celebrated on Easter Sunday with a PGA Tour victory.

Following a win in the Texas Open last year in San Antonio, Spieth won a thrilling playoff on Sunday at the RBC Heritage in South Carolina.

The former Jesuit standout earned his 13th career victory on the Tour and bounced back after missing the cut at The Masters the prior week. He followed up a final-round score of 66 by holding off Patrick Cantlay on the first playoff hole.

Spieth also gained some momentum heading into his hometown tournament next month at the Byron Nelson Invitational in McKinney, which will be followed by the PGA Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
