Lady Scots Claim Team Title in Rockwall
Highland Park earned its first team title of the spring girls golf season at the recent Regional Preview tournament at Rockwall Golf and Athletic Club.
Sophie Biediger claimed the individual crown for the Lady Scots with a two-round score of 70-70—140. As a team, HP fired back-to-back rounds of 320 on the same course where the Class 5A Region II tournament will take place in mid-April.
Next up, HP will head to a tournament at Pebble Creek Golf Course in College Station on March 4-5. That will be the team’s final tuneup prior to the District 13-5A tournament on March 29-30 in Crandall.
