North Texas Giving Day 2021: North Texas Community Health Centers
Editor’s Note: As part of our coverage of North Texas Giving Day this year, we’ve invited nonprofits to pitch themselves to our readers.
North Texas Area Community Health Centers (NTACHC) would appreciate your support during North Texas Giving Day to help keep our community healthy. With three centers in Arlington, Southeast Fort Worth and Northside serving almost 14,000 patients, our 501 (c)(3) nonprofit is the ONLY federally qualified community health center (FQHC) in Tarrant County. We provide high-quality medical services, offer a safety net for the lower-income population, and work to end community health disparities.
FQHCs, like ours, are located in medically underserved neighborhoods. Our patients live nearby, and so do many of our employees, so we help generate economic growth in addition to providing critical health resources.
Your gift will help pay for much-needed services:
- Vaccinations for children and adults
- Well child exams
- Diabetes and hypertension care
- Prenatal and Postpartum care
- Same-day sick visits
- Behavioral counseling and more.
We are a community family medical practice that offers a full-range of primary and preventative healthcare services to our patients. Our team of medical professionals work together to provide primary health care and specialty care. This model results in higher personalized, coordinated, effective and efficient care.
