Scots Shine on Court in Season Debut
The quest for another Class 5A team tennis state title is off to a promising start for Highland Park.
The Scots easily won both of their matches to open the season last week, including a 15-4 thrashing of a combined team from Jesuit and Ursuline on Friday at the Seay Tennis Center.
HP also earned an 18-1 victory over Greenville in its first District 13-5A match. The Scots (2-0) will next travel to face Mesquite Poteet on Sept. 7.
