ESD Athletes Heading to College
There will be plenty of ESD alumni appearing as freshmen on college athletic rosters next season.
The school recently held a ceremony to recognize 17 graduating seniors — or about one-sixth of its entire senior class — for commitments and scholarship offers to various colleges.
Each honoree was greeted with a pennant, their college fight song, and a hearty cheer upon taking the auditorium stage. The college-bound athletes include:
- Jack Betts (football), Amherst College
- Adam Bland (baseball), Hendrix College
- Scott Bower (lacrosse), Virginia
- Jay Browne (lacrosse), Stanford
- Keller Casey (basketball), Oklahoma
- Caroline Cheetham (lacrosse), USC
- Sriya Dodda (crew), Columbia
- Elliot Duessel (crew), Colgate
- Katelin Gildersleeve (crew), Stanford
- Cameron Goldstein (tennis), St. Edward’s
