William Whitfield Roberts
William Whitfield Roberts is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Whitfield Roberts of University Park. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Morris Roberts Jr. of University Park and Mr. and Mrs. Hubbard Taylor Busby of Greensboro, North Carolina. Whit’s sister Bethany is a junior at Ursuline Academy. His youngest sister, India Taylor, is in 8th grade at Providence Christian School.
Whit is a 2018 graduate of Parish Episcopal School, where he lettered in basketball and track. He was a member of Boy Scouts Troop 82, earning the rank of Eagle Scout in 2015. Whit was a founding member of the Irving Hawks Young Men’s Service League serving as leadership chairman and earning a Presidential Community Service Award. Whit received the Junior Servant Award from Reconciliation Outreach for his Eagle Project. He is a member of Park Cities Presbyterian Church and participated in several trips with the high school ministry, including a mission trip to East Asia.
Whit attends the University of Texas at Austin studying psychology in the School of Liberal Arts. He is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, enjoys basketball, skiing, and hiking and spending time with friends and family.
