Clayton Nelson Petty
Clayton Nelson Petty is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Scott Petty. He is the grandson of Mrs. Benjamin Clayton Bell, Sr. and the late Dr. Benjamin Clayton Bell, Sr., Mrs. Emily Petty and the late Mr. William Byers Petty and Ms. Kathleen Oldenburg. His sister Byers, a 2015 La Fiesta Duchess, is a graduate of Texas A&M University. His brother Ben, a La Fiesta Escort in 2016, is a senior at the University of Arkansas, and his sister Margaret, a 2018 La Fiesta Duchess, is a sophomore at Texas A&M University.
As a graduate of the 2018 class of Highland Park High School, Clayton was deeply involved in Highland Park Young Life, Highland Park Presbyterian Church, Park Cities Presbyterian Church and Boy Scouts Troop 82 where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Clayton was honored by Highland Park High School as the top business student in 2018.
Clayton attends Texas A&M University where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in economics. He is an active member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. Clayton’s passions outside of school are duck hunting, photography and guitar.
