Clay Francis Cassidy
Clay Francis Cassidy is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Joseph Cassidy, Jr. of Highland Park. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Bryan Medlock, Jr. of Highland Park and Ms. Barbara Joan Hawkins of Sugar Land, Texas. His brother Kevin is a junior at the University of Texas at Austin and was a 2017 La Fiesta Escort.
Clay graduated from St. Mark’s School of Texas in 2018 as an AP Scholar with Distinction. He was vice-president of the Pre-Law Society, a member of the University Park Chapter of Young Men’s Service League and received the President’s Volunteer Service Award. Clay was a goalie for Dallas Stars Elite Tier 1 club hockey and played for a national championship in 2015. He was also a member of the St. Mark’s golf team.
Clay is a freshman at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in petroleum engineering in the Cockrell School of Engineering where he received an academic scholarship from Schlumberger. He is a member of the Texas Rho fraternity.
Clay enjoys snow skiing, golf, spending time in Snowmass, Colorado and with his friends. Clay is a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church.
