Charles Lee Doherty
Charles Lee Doherty is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Chauncey Doherty, IV. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jay Barlow and Mr. and Mrs. John Jamison Windlow. Charlie’s brother Jack, a sophomore at Texas Christian University, was a 2018 La Fiesta Escort. His younger sister Annie is a high school junior. Charlie’s mother Allison is a former La Fiesta Duchess.
A 2018 graduate of Highland Park High School, Charlie was a Cornerstone Scholar Athlete, peer tutor, member of Young Men’s Service League and a three-year letterman on the Highland Park golf team. An active community volunteer, Charlie received the Presidential Community Service Award three times for his work at Camp Barnabas. He was on the Teen Board for the VNA of Dallas, the Teen Board of Heroes for Children and held leadership roles on the Junior Symphony Ball, HP Prom and Highland Park Education Foundation committees.
Charlie attends Texas Christian University where he plans to study business. He is a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, TCU Energy Club and TCU Young Life. He enjoys hunting, fishing and skiing with his family and friends. Charlie is a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.
