Cade O’Neill Saustad
Cade O’Neill Saustad is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Charles Saustad of University Park. He is the grandson of Mrs. Jackson Lee Raley of Highland Park and the late Mr. Carl Olaf Saustad, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse David Longhofer of Harlingen, Texas. Cade’s older brother Matthew works in Austin and his younger brother Campbell is a junior at Highland Park High School.
A 2018 graduate of Highland Park High School, Cade was a starting receiver for the 2016 and 2017 State Championship football teams. Cade earned All-District, All-Area and All-State awards and set numerous records, among them a Texas 5A State record for receiving yards and touchdowns in the 2017 state championship game against Manvel. Cade was a four-year starter for the Highland Park men’s lacrosse team. He earned three All-State awards and was the first three-year All-American for HPHS. He was elected captain his senior year and was an Under Armour All-American.
While at HPHS, Cade was a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Young Men’s Service League.
Cade attends the University of Virginia where he is a member of the men’s lacrosse team.
