Frances Ann Matise
Frances Ann Matise is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Browning Matise. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jerry Johnston and the late Dr. Johnston, and Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt Matise. Her brother, Hoyt, attends the University of Arkansas, and her sister, Keller, attends Highland Park High School.
A 2018 graduate of Highland Park High School, Frances Ann was captain of the Lady Scots soccer team, a three-time recipient of the Fighting Scot Award, earned All-District, All-State, All-Tournament and Captain of the Year honors and was 2017 UIL State Champion. She was Prom Queen, a Homecoming Queen nominee, Student Council class representative and the Senior Class president. Frances Ann was a Cornerstone Scholar Athlete, member of the National Honor Society, a 65 Roses officer and officer for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She received the Maximum “H” award and the Suzy Growth Rhodes Scholarship.
Frances Ann was a founding member of the Turtle Creek Chapter, National Charity League, and is a member at Highland Park United Methodist Church.
Frances Ann attends and plays soccer for the University of South Carolina where she is in the National Honor Society.
