Highland Park again defended its home track by winning the team title at the annual Tracy Wills Invitational meet on Saturday at Germany Park.

The Lady Scots were led by several standout individual performances. Event winners included Olivia Briggs (triple jump), Cameron Fawcett (3,200), and Ella Patterson (400). HP also won all four relays.

The Lady Scots will return to the track on Friday, with selected athletes competing at the Texas Relays in Austin and the bulk of the team heading to the Mesquite ISD Invitational at Hanby Stadium.

Those meets will provide the final tuneup for HP athletes prior to the District 11-5A meet on April 4-5 in Carrollton.
