Lady Scots Take Title in Richardson

Highland Park sprinted past the field to win the team title at the recent Richardson Invitational, led by several standout individual performances.
Event winners included Cameron Fawcett (1,600 and 3,200), Maddy Stephens (800), Meredith Sims (300 hurdles), Olivia Conner (high jump), and Phoebe Spackman (pole vault).
The Lady Scots will return to action on March 23 when they host the annual Tracy Wills Invitational at Germany Park. The action gets underway with the 3,200 plus field events at 8 a.m., with running finals slated for 1 p.m.
The festivities also will include a free “fun run” at 9 a.m., open to girls in kindergarten through sixth grade. That includes an 800-meter run for runners in grades K-3 and a 1,600-meter run for girls in grades 4-6. No advance registration is required.
