Lady Scots Place Third in Mansfield

Distance runners Sophia Oliai and Cameron Fawcett lifted Highland Park to a third-place finish in the girls team standings at the Legacy Bronco Relays on Saturday in Mansfield.

Oliai won the 3,200 meters, just ahead of Fawcett. Meanwhile, Fawcett took the 1,600, with Oliai coming in third. Other medalists for the Lady Scots included Morgan Thompson (discus), Ali Lavish (high jump), Ella Brown (pole vault), Phoebe Spackman (pole vault), and Izzy Blaylock (800).

HP will return to action on Friday at the Boyd Bronco Relays in McKinney.
