HP Girls Reach 700 Wins for Program

Friday night brought another victory and another milestone for Highland Park, which earned the 700th win in program history with a 2-0 shutout of Carrollton Creekview.
Presley Echols tallied both goals for the Lady Scots (9-1-3, 4-0), who remained unbeaten in District 11-5A play. Halley Ray and Kathryn Franks recorded the assists.
In boys action, Will Berry scored for HP as the Scots (4-5-3, 1-1-2) tied Creekview 1-1. The boys will host Carrollton R.L. Turner on Tuesday, while the girls will be on the road.
