The Biscuit Bar Expands to Dallas

With much-continued success in the suburbs, Plano’s The Biscuit Bar, serving up Southern charm on a biscuit, is expanding south of Highway 635.

A Park Cities/SMU location is slated to open early 2019 at 6501 Hillcrest Ave.

The 2,118 sq. ft property will be designed by Dallas based agency Plan B Group and built by Gilmon Fox is slated to open in early 2019.

The restaurant features scratch-made biscuits crowned with a variety of sweet and savory toppings for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night.

The most popular menu item, The Hoss, features Southern fried chicken, bacon, Jack cheese, house made sausage gravy and honey butter.

Other highlights include the Chicken & Not-A-Waffle with pan-fried French toast biscuits, topped with house-made whipped cream and southern fried chicken and customizable tater tot preparations like the Southern Style with house-made sausage gravy, cheddar cheese, and green onion.
