Suzanne Asaff Blankenship Book Signing

Suzanne Asaff Blankenship, author of “How To Take Care of Old People Without Losing Your Marbles” will discuss “I’ve Got Your Back – Being An Effective Eldercare Advocate” at the University Park Public Library on Sept.15 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Presented by the Friends of the University Park Public Library, Blankenship will discuss some of the issues surrounding eldercare she finds most troubling.

The presentation will includes a Q & A and book signing. The event is open to the public at no charge.

Blankenship’s book recently won a Book Excellence Award in Caregiving for it’s high quality design, writing and overall market appeal. It focuses on taking care of ones elderly relatives with topics such as long-term care insurance, assisted living, selecting home health aides.

Inspiration for her book came with Blankenship’s own experiences in taking care of her mother as she aged.
