Q: What is your fashion motto?
A: When in doubt, wear something classic with fun, bold accessories.
Q: Tell us about your favorite piece of clothing in your closet:
A: An ivory leather Loro Piana jacket that I’ve had for years. It’s the perfect light jacket for both Dallas and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where we spend time in the summer.
Q: What’s been the most valuable learning experience as part of Crystal Charity Ball?
A: There are so many! I love learning the hidden talents of our committed members: everything from ice skating and baking to serious organizational savvy and CPA’s.
Q: Tell us about your favorite local designer:
A: So tough to pick just one! Ellen Hoffman Design. Her colorful stone necklaces look great with anything from a T-shirt and jeans to a cocktail dress.
Q: Who is your style inspiration and how do you embody them?
A: Olivia Palermo. She is not afraid to take risks and always has fun with shoes and handbags, both of which I love.
Q: What is your favorite Park Cities or Preston Hollow eatery to get dressed up for lunch with girlfriends?
A: I attend an annual birthday party for a friend at Café Pacific every August that I always love.
Q: Other than the beneficiaries of Crystal Charity Ball, what charity/cause pulls at your heartstring, and why?
A: Big Thought provides crucial out-of-school time opportunities for students in high-need neighborhoods. Fun, educational programs for children after-school and during the summer make a real difference in closing the learning gap.
Q: What cosmetic is always in your purse?
A: Lipstick
Q: Tell us about your favorite Park Cities or Preston Hollow place to get pampered:
A: Terry Edgmon Salon
Q: What fashion statement this year do you dislike, and why?
A: Combat boots are WAY too heavy and clunky. It doesn’t help that I have a giant foot!
