Highland Park ISD Students Returned to Class

Highland Park ISD students returned to class on Thursday, and many of the youngest students found themselves in different facilities this year. Those included pupils at University Park Elementary School, who last year attended classes in the district’s unnamed fifth elementary school facilities, but returned to their own campus on 3505 Amherst Ave., where a new school building was constructed during the past year and completed this month. Seniors from Highland Park High School also visited elementary school campuses, where they presented new kindergarteners with class of 2031 T-shirts.
