DMA Announces 2018 Fall Seasons of Arts & Letters Live
The Dallas Museum of Arts has announced an exciting lineup for the 27th season of its highly acclaimed and engaging Arts & Letters Live series.
Events this season include appearances by the remarkable Jesmyn Ward, Dallas’s own Mark Lamster, and Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Doris Kearns Goodwin.
Another highlight of the season is the museum’s partnership with the Dallas Theater Center for an evening of conversation and drama, celebrating the wonderful play ‘Steel Magnolias’ with actors performing excerpts from the DTC’s upcoming production along with a conversation with playwright Robert Harling.
Tickets are now on sale.
Other authors featured in the 27th Fall Season include: Kimothy Joy; Sarah Bird; Lou Berney & Andre Dubus III; Caroline Fraser; Fatima Farheen Mirza & Tommy Orange; Elaine Pagels; Ina Garten; David Grann; and Jill Lepore.
New this year is the launch of “A Moveable Feast Book Club” where over the course of four afternoons, Arts & Letters Live aficionados are invited for a buffet lunch in the DMA’s Founders Room and thoughtful dialogue about a featured book at least a week before the Arts Letters Live author events.
