Mediterranean Fare Coming to Preston Center

Hummus, falafels, and the goodness of tzatziki sauce will soon have a home at Preston Center.

After making its 2017 Uptown debut, Chicago-based Roti Modern Mediterranean grill has announced they will open a second location at 8301 Westchester Dr. – the shop that formerly hosted Chipotle.

The restaurant is expected to open this fall.

Similar to Chipotle, Roti also has a customizable menu. It all starts with a base (rice plate, laffa wrap, pita sandwich, or salad). From there, the customer can customize it with proteins ranging from falafel to lamb meatballs; sides and toppings like hummus or red cabbage slaw; and sauces including s’hug, which is a popular condiment in the Eastern Mediterranean made with crushed red pepper, fresh garlic, and cayenne pepper – YUM!
