Designer Lela Rose To Be Honored at DSOL Luncheon
The Dallas Symphony Orchestra League will celebrate past, present, and future ladies of “The League” at The Fashion Notes Luncheon and Style Show in the Venetian Room at the Fairmont Dallas.
Lela Rose, the Dallas raised, New York City-based fashion designer, will be the recipient of the Inaugural Fashion Notes Designer Award.
Rose, a former DSOL debutante, is widely regarded for her elegant aesthetic and fresh designer ready-to-wear-offering.
Formally trained as a painter and sculptor prior to pursuing fashion design, she employs color, rich fabrications, sculptural silhouettes and handcrafted details. Rose is now a published author and her first book, Prêt-à-Party, focuses on her love of style and entertaining products.
Amy Turner will act as Chairman of DSOL Fashion Notes, Amy will lead the campaign in support of quality outreach programs benefiting children of all ages. As a mother and former middle school teacher in Highland Park ISD, Amy understands the importance of education and opening doors to all children served. Her leadership in the Junior League of Dallas, Crystal Charity Ball and Cattle Baron’s Ball raise awareness and funds for children in need of all ages.
Meagan Etheredge Sells is Honorary Co-chair alongside her mother.
The morning begins with a reception and silent auction followed by a live auction and fashion show topped off with a delicious luncheon.
Dianne Etheredge will serve as an Honorary Co-Chair with her daughter Meagan Etheredge Sells. Dianne has been a longtime supporter of the DSO and DSOL, serving as a past President and past Presentation Ball Chair.
The proceeds from the event will benefit the Dallas Symphony Association and its education and community
outreach programs.
