New Zealand Rodd & Gunn Meets NorthPark

Rodd & Gunn, a modern lifestyle-driven menswear brand, is set to open its first Texas location at NorthPark Center.

“We’ve had our eye on Dallas for quite some time as it’s a very progressive and exciting city that we think our brand will resonate with,” said Mike Beagley, CEO of Rodd & Gunn. “We love that Texans are big on style but also know how to have some fun while looking good.”

Rodd & Gunn’s heritage dates back to 1946 when the brand’s English Pointer logo was used on a boutique line of New Zealand made shirts.

Today this antipodean men’s lifestyle brand remains synonymous with bespoke quality while taking inspiration from New Zealand’s picturesque landscape.

Rodd & Gunn will launch in Dallas with its Summer 2018 collection featuring warm weather wardrobe essentials, from softly knit polos and luxe linen shirts to shorts, lightweight linen sports coats, and soft breathable jackets.

This will be followed shortly afterward with their Fall 2018 range, which reflects New Zealand’s outdoor heritage and spirit of escapism.

The Dallas opening marks the sixth U.S. store for Rodd & Gunn, following successful launches in Newport Beach, California; DUMBO, Brooklyn in New York; Los Angeles; Greenwich San Diego; as well as a shop-in-shop in San Francisco.

The 2,000 square-foot Dallas store will showcase the entire Rodd & Gunn line and is slated to open Aug. 1, located next to AG, near Nordstrom.
