Huntsman Debuts Airstream Mobile Tailoring
Huntsman, the famed Savile Row bespoke tailor, presented the Texas premier of its Huntsman Airstream Mobile Tailoring Studio at a Lawn Party hosted by Anne and Steve Stodghill and Liz and Scott Kimple at the Stodghill’s Preston Hollow residence.
The party took place on April 7 and was attended by Dallas’ most influential patrons. The evening featured Balvenie Scotch tasting (of which the owner, Katie Grant, attended), British inspired bites, lawn games, and bagpipe performances throughout the night. Additionally, guests had the opportunity to step into the mobile tailoring studio and be the first in Texas to receive the bespoke Huntsman experience one receives at both 11 Savile Row and our New York pied-a-terre on 57th Street.
The vintage Airstream creates a unique and innovative way to immerse the public in Huntsman’s legendary sartorial style, along with the opportunity to get greater insight into their iconic personalized tweed creation process; inspired by classic Americana in its exterior and bespoke Huntsman Savile Row within.
The Airstream is upholstered in bespoke Huntsman tweeds designed by loyal Huntsman customers themselves – Sir John Richardson, Hamish Bowles, Leo Daly III and Robert Couturier. It also features a bedroom that cleverly morphs into a full-fledged fitting room, complete with the classic triptych mirror, providing the full capabilities of the bespoke suit experience.
