4,000 People Expected To Fill Oak Lawn Park for Easter Hunt
More than 4,000 people are expected to gather April 1 for the 52nd annual Easter in the Park celebration.
Hosted by The Conservancy and the City of Dallas, the event begins at 1 p.m. at Oak Lawn Park, and it will include the Conservancy Pooch Parade, live music by DJ Jennifer Miller, an Easter egg hunt with a special appearance from the Easter bunny, and a variety of food trucks.
A portion of sales from food truck sales will be donated back to the Conservancy.
The Conservancy, modeled after the Central Park Conservancy in New York, spends more than $330,000 annually for general maintenance, repairs, reforestation, color changes, garden damage, plant replacement, utilities, and more on this special place that belongs to the citizens of
Dallas.
The event is free and open to the public.
The easter egg hunt, presented by Texas Capital Bank, begins at 1:30 p.m. Children 10 and younger are welcome to participate.
